A78 Yerton Brae crossing gets green light
Scotland TranServ is giving new pedestrian crossing facilities on the A78 at Yerton Brae and Fullerton Drive in West Kilbride the green light.
The crossing was switched on this morning and will provide improved road safety for local pedestrians and drivers.
Vincent Tait, Scotland TranServ’s Road Safety Manager said:
“This signal installation has been developed following an investigation into the issues faced by pedestrians in the area, and will help to improve pedestrian facilities at this junction for local residents and their families.”
The lights are the latest project from Scotland TranServ’s award-winning road safety team, following the implementation of the Neatebox application on five trunk road crossings throughout Largs.
