Dress Down Friday Funding at a Gallop
Scotland TranServ employees have managed to keep the coffers rolling in for our Dress Down Friday fund and supported Upper Nithsdale Riding for the Disabled to the tune of £477.
The Sanquhar-based charity was established only last year to meet the need for RDA activities and services in the Nithsdale area of Dumfries and Galloway.
Their horses and ponies provide therapy, achievement and enjoyment to people with disabilities, offering activities for all age groups and, wherever possible, to people with any disability.
The charity relies on voluntary help, donations, sponsorship and legacies to deliver its services, and that’s why our Dress Down Friday funds are so important.
From April to June we will be collecting much needed funding for St Andrews Hospice, Lanarkshire’s specialist palliative care hospice, providing support for people living with life-limiting illnesses.
