POSTPONED: A737 Resurfacing East of Beith

Due to adverse weather conditions forecast for this weekend, it has been necessary to postpone the planned resurfacing of the A737 between Roebank Road and the B777 Junction, east of Beith.

It will be necessary for Scotland TranServ to reconsider the schedule of works.

Alan Murray, Scotland TranServ’s Principal Road Design Engineer said:

“In rescheduling these works we will consult the local authority, emergency services and key local stakeholders to help reduce the impact on the community and businesses. We will engage with them shortly and plan around community events and commitments when rescheduling this important programme of works.”
