Season to be cyclic
It’s spring and with it comes the cyclic season. Our winter fleet is preparing for a well-earned rest, and that means our grass cutters are rolling out ready to keep more than 25,000,000m2 of grass verge neat and tidy. That’s the equivalent of cutting the pitch at Hampden Park over 3,500 times.
Year-on-year Scotland TranServ collects more than 5000 sacks of rubbish that thoughtless drivers have thrown away onto our motorway verges.
Also in the last year, we cleaned a staggering 42,000 traffic signs, posts and markers and lifted over 5,000 manholes – that’s the same as lifting 14 double decker buses!!
