Supporting Glasgow homeless charity this Christmas
Scotland TranServ employees today handed over a cheque for £98 to the deserving Glasgow City Mission.
The charity supports people living with homelessness, addiction, poverty and family breakdown issues across Glasgow. Support is provided through their Winter Night Shelter, Child & Family Centre and City Centre project.
The staff donation will provide hot Christmas dinners with all the trimmings for FOURTEEN needy people. Alternatively it’s enough to buy 5 sleeping bags for roughsleepers.
Andy Fraser, Scotland TranServ’s Operating Company Representative said:
“Our employees have given generously through the various fundraising activities that we host throughout the year. Money raised through a collection at our Staff Seminar this year was divided among the four charity speakers, of which Glasgow City Mission was one. We’re delighted to play a part in addressing homelessness in our city and supporting this deserving charity in whatever way we can.”
