A76 New Cumnock Slope Stabilisation
Scotland TranServ has successfully completed works on the A76 adjacent to New Cumnock railway station.
The slope stabilisation, wall replacement and resurfacing works were completed on schedule.
Stuart Burns, Scotland TranServ’s Design Manager said:
“We replaced the collapsed wall with a new safety barrier and extended the road with the addition of a verge. It was also necessary to extend the slope as part of our stabilisation works along the 100m stretch of carriageway. In order to keep disruption to a minimum, road resurfacing works were carried out under night time closures coordinated with other schemes in the area.”
