A8 Bullring Overnight Road Marking Works
On behalf of Transport Scotland, Scotland TranServ will this week carry out overnight road markings of the A8 Bullring Roundabout in Greenock.
In order to complete this short programme of works as quickly and safely as possible, it will be necessary to implement a series of lane closures between evening of Friday 31st January and the morning of Saturday 1st February.
Liam Browne, Scotland TranServ’s Area Network Manager said:
“These trunk road improvement works are a continuation of our Enhanced Maintenance programme, which took place across Inverclyde prior to Christmas. New lane markings will be installed on the Bullring Roundabout at its trunk road approaches. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the local community for their patience while these important improvements are delivered.”
Traffic management will only be implemented once vehicle volumes are sufficiently low. Lane restrictions will be in place between the following times:
- 8pm on Friday 31st January to 6am on Saturday 1st of February
Drivers are advised to check trafficscotland.org or to follow @trafficscotland on Twitter for live trunk road updates. We would ask motorists to allow some additional time for their journeys while this short programme of work is delivered.
