A82 Garshake Rd to Barloan Rbt Overnight Resurfacing
On behalf of Transport Scotland, trunk road and motorway management company Scotland TranServ will carry out overnight resurfacing of the A82 Northbound from Sunday 3rd to Sunday 10th of September.
In order to complete this short programme of work addressing issues with potholes and structural cracking on the stretch from Garshake Road to the Barloan Roundabout it will be necessary to implement a convoy from 8pm each evening to 6am the following morning.
Lee Donnelly, Scotland TranServ’s Assistant Engineer said:
“We intend working through the night in order to minimise the disruption to local commuters and freight traffic. This is an important stretch of trunk road, linking up communities in Argyll and Bute, Stirlingshire and the Highlands and Islands with Glasgow and the Central Belt. Scotland TranServ is working hard to improve the quality of the A82 for the thousands of drivers who use it daily.”
The £217k project will see the resurfacing of 540m of the Northbound carriageway and also include resurfacing of the Barloan Roundabout.
