High FIVE for Scottish Transport Award Finals

Scotland TranServ has received FIVE nominations for the prestigious Scottish Transport Awards.

The awards are the pinnacle in the Scottish transport industry’s year and cover a wide variety of categories from Airport of the Year to Best Bus Service.

Our close collaboration with client, Transport Scotland and our specialist supply chain partners has again delivered award recognition.

TranServ’s successful Strategic Road Safety Team has been nominated for their innovative programme, with finalists named as ‘A701 Close Follow’ in the Most Effective in Road Safety, Traffic Management and Enforcement category, and in the Most Innovative Transport Project of the Year category, the pioneering, Managing Suicidal Conversations project has also been recognised.

There was recognition too for our vegetation clearance project for the M8 at Charing Cross in the Excellence in Walking, Public Realm & Cycling category, while our innovative use of a Semi-Automatic Excavator on the A76 Enterkinfoot Road Realignment programme also made the finals in collaboration with parent company Balfour Beatty.

For services above and beyond the call of duty, ISU Operative, Dunky Ferguson has also been nominated in the Frontline Employee of the Year category.

Operating Company Representative, Andrew Blanch said:

“The Scottish Transport Awards are recognition of the outstanding work of our team over the last 12 months. With five nominations we have proven the quality of our work, the innovation of our team and the value of our close collaborations with client and specialist supply chains. We are particularly delighted for ISU Operative Dunky Ferguson, who always goes above and beyond what is required, and provides a real example of the culture we hold as a business.”
