Six Nominations for National Transport Awards
Scotland TranServ has received 6 nominations across 5 categories at this year’s National Transport Awards.
Having bagged 3 accolades at the Scottish Transport Awards in June, the South West Scotland trunk road operator, has added further finalists to its nominated projects.
Among those reaching the October 31st finals in London, is TRISS Operative Darren MacLaren, who assisted police with a vulnerable person on the Kingston Bridge, while the Erskine Bridge’s innovative access manholes also get the judges’ nod.
Our Strategic Road Safety team lead the charge with two nominations, while there were also mentions for our M8 LED lighting programme and our Site Safety collaboration with Jacobs.
Andy Fraser, Scotland TranServ’s Operating Company Representative said:
“Simply to be nominated in this most prestigious of award ceremonies is an achievement, but for our teams to show their strength and breadth with six nominations in five categories is a fantastic achievement, on the national stage, against the best in the business across the UK.
“The nominations are testament to the hard work and talents of our teams across Scotland TranServ, but also for the collaboration shown between ourselves and Transport Scotland. Our supply chain also plays a significant part in these award finalists, working at the top of their game and sharing their industry leading practice to deliver long-term benefits for our customers, South West Scotland’s motorists.”
