New Year of Fundraising
Scotland TranServ has kicked off its New Year charity efforts with a £444 donation to Macmillan Cancer Support Scotland. Employees throughout the organisation raised the sum through a number of fun activities.
Already the trunk road operating company has identified four charities to receive funding from their Dress Down Friday charitable fundraising efforts during 2019. These include The ReInvention, Ayrshire Cancer Support, Prostate Scotland and the Scottish SPCA. Other groups will also benefit from various other initiatives over the next 12 months.
Operating Company Representative, Andy Fraser said:
“We’re delighted to continue our run of charitable donations. Macmillan is a fantastic charity to start the new year. We’ve all been affected by cancer in some way or another, and Macmillan has been there for families across South West Scotland. Our fundraising efforts will continue throughout the year with a further four great charities already identified to receive donations from our Dress Down Friday efforts.”
