Traffic Light Trial on Erskine Bridge

1st May 2013 - Traffic Light Trial on Erskine Bridge will reduce delays during works - A forthcoming £6 million project to replace barriers on the Erskine Bridge will see a new approach to traffic management that could radically reduce delays during roadworks.

Works of this nature would normally see the bridge reduced to one lane in each direction, for safety reasons, with diversions and lengthy delays of up to 40 minutes.
